The clients approached Studio Hallett Ike having recently moved into a property that, despite alterations over the years in a variety of styles and qualities, the original proportions of this grand Victorian house remained, with a generous garden.

Full refurbishment and reconfiguration of this dwelling allows the separate spaces to open up, creating an easy flow throughout. The design includes new oversized fenestration to create a series of views framing the garden.

​

A separate garden studio is nestled in the rear of the garden, acting as a private and secluded work space for the clients. The material palette throughout the design is referenced in different spaces to ensure the overarching design is cohesive and calming.
