South Kensington Penthouse

An existing two storey penthouse, set atop a 9 storey housing unit, requires dramatic modernisation. The clients came to Studio Hallett Ike with a desire to reconfigure the property whilst introducing some much needed tactility and aesthetic consideration.

The design, spready across two floors, seeks to introduce natural materials where possible, contrasting against clean finishes such as brushed stainless steel and mirror glass.

The existing cladding of the property, as is the case with many older constructions, is unsightly and cumbersome. Our design seeks to redress the cladding internally, without making external alterations. This allows the interior design to feel cohesive, whilst negating the need for planning permission and other consents.
